DESKTOP
This is the most common personal computer on the market. A good desktop can last you a long time, doing most tasks from casual browsing to video editing with relative ease. The monitor itself is not actually the processing unit. The desktop relies on the computer tower to work, and you use devices like a mouse, speakers, or any other device to utilize it. Desktops have a lot of power under their shell, however they are wall powered, and therefore not portable at all.
LAPTOP
We've all been there. You need the processing power of a desktop, but you're on the go and away from the office. This is when a laptop comes in! I personally prefer these over their wall powered counterparts, as I like to bring it around the house and even on the road. There is a catch, however. These things are, for the most part, not as powerful as desktops. If you're doing a more intensive task like gaming or 3D modelling, you may not get as much performance as you would get on a normal computer.
SMARTPHONE
For the people who don't want or need a laptop, but still need access to their messages or calls, we have the smartphone. The predecessors to the analog cellphones, these devices have the same capabilities as their ancestors, and so much more. If you ever need to take a quick picture or film a video, then the cellphone has got you covered. That is not it's only use though! Thanks to the advancements in technology, cellphones have gotten more and more powerful, so you'll never have a worry for lack of processing power or battery life.
About
People have many different interests. Some people create music, others create videos for people to see. Some play games, and some just work from home. What do these things all have in common? Technology. These jobs or hobbies require technology so one can perform them at highest efficiency and potential. Personal computers, or PCs for short, are the exact thing that you and I need to reach our fullest potential.
My Story
Back in the days of the early 2000s, it was quite hard to keep in contact of my friends outside of school or arranging a get together with them. However, that was hard to do, as we had our own schedules to adhere to. I have lost contact to many people over the years because of this. However, these days, I have managed to come in contact with them again! How, you may ask? Well, its because of this product right here. The Personal Computer! Not only can I talk to my friends and acquaintances, I have made new ones too. And not only that, but I can relive nostalgic parts of my childhood thanks to the many archives of memorabilia that can be found across the internet.
